Greg Van Alstyne is an accomplished creative director and design educator with proven abilities in research, writing and concept development, along with visualization, art direction and design management.

He has more than twenty years experience in art and editorial direction, branding, logo and font development, and communications design for international clients. His extensive portfolio of experience and interaction design for multiple media includes print, environmental graphics, Web, and digital installation projects for clients in art and culture, media, museums, retail, and telecommunications.

Greg's career highlights include:

  • Co-founding Strategic Innovation Lab (sLab) at the Ontario College of Art & Design, a centre for design research, innovation and strategic foresight
  • Leading student teams in a two-year project to research, design and realize Massive Change: The Future of Global Design, as Director of the interdisciplinary post-professional program the Institute without Boundaries (IwB)
  • Overseeing user experience design for acclaimed interaction design projects including technology in Prada's Manhattan Epicentre concept store
  • Founding and managing the Department of New Media at The Museum of Modern Art, New York.
